ArmD™ Collimators

Our collimators and focusing devices (beam-shaping) for optical systems are ideal for UV to NIR applications, and can be used with most assemblies or bundles. Our unique design is available in three convenient sizes that can accommodate nearly any size fiber: Small – for fibers up to 400 microns; Medium – for fibers up to 800 microns; and Large – for larger fibers. Our Medium and Large collimators and focusing devices are compatible with each other.

ArmD™ Collimators

Armadillo offers a versatile range of collimators and focusing beam-shaping devices designed for optical systems, catering to a broad spectrum of wavelengths. Our product line includes three convenient sizes to accommodate various fiber sizes: Small, suitable for fibers up to 400 microns; Medium, designed for fibers up to 800 microns; and Large, tailored for larger fibers. Notably, Medium and Large collimators and focusing devices are fully compatible with each other. The glass lenses (BK-7) are crafted from high-quality optical glass, making them well-suited for applications spanning 350 to 2000 nm. Known for stability in temperature-sensitive environments and compatibility with most chemical conditions, BK-7 lenses present a cost-effective alternative to silica lenses. For applications requiring deep UV transmission down to 190 nm, our ultraviolet grade fused silica lenses stand out. These lenses offer superior radiation resistance, ensuring exceptional performance in demanding scenarios.
